I just watched "The Immigrant" with my movie buddy Chatchien. Yes, with a little patience and Chat's knowledge of the interwebs we finally conquered our movie night curse.

( Marion Cotillard and the filmmakers do some magical voodoo in this film and I ramble on and on about it incoherently but earnestly below the cut. )

Tonight's Movie Night Movie was "All This and Heaven Too." I was mesmerized by all the big beautiful eyes. ( All the boys think she's a spy, she's got... )

A movie night months ago my movie watching companion and I watched Georgie Girl. A few movie nights later, or maybe the next movie night, we watched Frances Ha. I will be really surprised if the lady behind Frances Ha was not in some way influenced by Georgie Girl. ( Clumsy rambling below without apology! )
